MUKTINATH – The Temple of Liberation
“A sacred place where the elements meet — fire, water, air, earth, and ether.”
Overview
Muktinath, located at an altitude of 3,800 meters in the Mustang region of Nepal, is one of the most revered pilgrimage sites for both Hindus and Buddhists. Known as Mukti Kshetra, or the “Place of Liberation,” it is believed that visiting Muktinath helps release past karma and brings spiritual freedom.
Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Himalayas, Muktinath is a place where faith, nature, and ancient belief systems come together in harmony.
